October News: Celebrating our Birthday!
Dear Friends of Invested Faith,
Happy birthday! It’s hard for me to believe, but it was 5 years ago that Invested Faith was born. In that time together we have built a movement that is offering hope, possibility and resurrection for people of faith all over the country. In a few weeks we’ll introduce you to yet another class of Fellows, taking our total network of Invested Faith Fellows to over 60 in 23 states. The work has been so hard, but look at all the beauty that’s come of it! Thank you for your part in bringing Invested Faith to life…just few seeds, a dream or two, and a little bit of courage can change the world. I believe it.
This month we have two new and exciting ways for you to join in efforts to keep building this movement of faith rooted social entrepreneurs. SEEDS is our new monthly giving program. If you are looking for a way for your contributions to have immediate impact, I’d like to invite you to join me in giving regularly to support the work of Invested Faith. We talk all the time about directing resources in impactful ways—we know that just a little can go a long way. And people of faith—you!—have the power to do that by becoming part of SEEDS.
We’re also delighted to share this year’s Invested Faith Holiday Gift Guide. As you think about holiday gifts for people on your list, consider giving a gift that supports the work of faith rooted social entrepreneurs who are changing unjust systems through their work. Finally, as we go into the week and month ahead, our country is undoubtedly facing one of the most challenging elections in its history. Remember: your vote is your voice; get to the polls and make your voice heard.
