A Birthday Wish

Dear Friends,

Every year February is an almost overwhelming experience of love expressed by so many on my birthday (thanks, Facebook). I feel that love and it carries me through the year. Seriously.

Around birthdays, I see a lot of people on Facebook highlighting causes that mean a lot to them, so I thought I would jump on the bandwagon this year. If we’re connected on social media, you certainly have heard about Invested Faith, an effort that I began in 2019 after many years of pastoring, observing the Church in all its crazy and wonderful, and thinking big thoughts about how we open ourselves to our future as people of faith in the world.

If you feel so inclined, I would love for you to take a few minutes to read about Invested Faith and begin to imagine with me. It’s easy to give a financial gift on the website (tax-deductible), and you can also send an email to set up some time to talk more deeply with me about IF.

That’s it. That’s what I want for my birthday. And know always that I feel tremendous gratitude for your friendship, many expressions of love and support, and shared concern for all we can heal and create together.

With so much gratitude,

P.S. Follow @investedfaith on social media and watch for the birthday countdown! You can find us here:
