Faithonomics is a social impact venture that empowers faith-inspired social impact leaders to bring their bold ideas to life without sacrificing their personal or financial well-being in the process. Founded by Rev. Rayce Lamb, Faithonomics offers financial education and vocational connection to faith-inspired leaders, creators, and entrepreneurs through their Doers Creative digital platform. This digital dashboard also offers virtual events, online co-working options, and affordable community spaces. The Faithonomics podcast showcases the stories of faith-inspired leaders who are re-imagining ministry in new and innovative ways.
Rayce’s work is grounded in the intersection of faith, money and vocation. Rayce became alert to the lack of financial education for clergy while serving as the Director of Ministry and Vocational Exploration at Wake Forest University School of Divinity. He completed financial education training and, as a Certified Financial Education Instructor, Rayce was contracted to provide financial education for students and alumni at WFU Divinity School. His continued interest and passion for this work led to the development of Faithonomics LLC. where he continues to help faith leaders, creatives, and social entreprenurs increase their financial fluency and to equip them with the holistic financial information they need to flourish.
Faithonomics now includes The Doers Creative, a digital platform that offers community and resources for those in pursuit of a big dream, the Faithonomics podcast, and will soon offer The Start Up Studio to equip emerging social ventures with the mentorship and tools they will need. 10% of the profits of Faithonomics LLC are tithed to The Wild Imagination Fund, dedicated to eradicating poverty in Winston-Salem, NC. “We say that we are a ‘sacred experiement’ in entrepreneurship because we are exploring how for-profit entities can engage the marketplace in ethical ways that promote justice,” said Rayce.
